The uploader for mp3s is done. I just have to finish the XML exporter. I actually have to go out for dinner tonight, then I have to go to an interview for a new programming job tomorrow at 11AM and send out an invoice for a current contract early in the morning, so I will only be able to finish the new band mp3 player tomorrow afternoon.
If you are a band, please wait until tomorrow to sign up as I will be changing the entire playlist editor on the site in real time today for the new player. This is going to make your mp3s incompatible with the old player, so don't even bother making a new band profile until the 13th in 1 day.
I will also be popping in and out of Gran Turismo 5 online on PS3. If you want to race me, my ID is beerco. I take a break every couple hour or so to play.
The TODO list for this weekend/next week
1. Clean website, no longer serve images/videos of porn, drugs, and or nudity checked 100% - May 5, 2008
2. Bands will be able to upload MP3 music, finally
3. Profiles will be markable as private Done - 5/6/08 1:04PM
4. a new Band MP3 player will be made and available to replace the fugly one that's used now - 50% done, still working on apache module
5. a new video player will be made available that will replace the fugly one that's used now
6. new graphics and Icons will be put up everywhere, to make the site look nicer Partially done
7. You will be able to change the header, td and border color of comments on your profile in the settings
8. I am going to try to implement SMS so you can use the site from your cell phone
9. I am going to make developer.sitespaces.net so you can create widgets
10. I will get some premade default widgets and make them available to add to your profile regardless of whether developer.sitespaces.net is adopted/used or not in a new section called "widget library"
12. I am brining back the Events, Classifieds, and Calendar sections that were removed in 2005.(got the files back, will restore them Thursday) Make classifieds section more like Craigslist.
13. You will be able to create a song library on your own profile with music from bands on SiteSpaces.net
14. I am creating a new and improved bands section, unlike the one that was removed in 2005
15. Implement new photo manager with flickr/zooomr type functionality for photo editing in browser
16. Add bulletin comments
17. Review TOS
18. Create automated backup solution for hourly diff patches to backup
19. Make it so people age 14 and up can register, but 17 and below have mandatory private profiles
20. Make age 18 and below profiles unsearchable.

22. User requested, new browse tab checkbox to search for friends only plus a quick link and RSS button to show online friends in your RSS reader on your desktop.

The website is getting to get a massive facelift to bring it into 2008.
